System Testing: Conduct functional tests and quality checks to ensure all systems meet performance and safety standards. Remote Robot Operation: Use advanced control systems to operate robots in remote locations, including customer sites, test environments, or field deployments. Scenario Execution: Execute pre-defined tasks, missions, or operations using remote robotic systems while adhering to project requirements. Data Collection and Reporting: Collect operational data, monitor system logs, and provide insights to engineering teams for system refinement.
Degree or apprenticeship in mechatronics, robotics, or equivalent. Proven experience assembling mechanical, electrical, and electronic components into complete systems or prototypes. Strong skills diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and basic software/hardware integration issues. High standards for build quality, component handling, cable management, and system checks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing tasks — from assembly to field testing and repairs. Interest in both maintaining and operating robotics systems. Working proficiency in English.
Flexibility for shifts or extended hours during critical operations. Prior experience with teleoperation of machines or equivalent. Basic proficiency in German.

Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Mechatronics Technician & Robot Operator to support the assembly, maintenance, and operation of our advanced robotic systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our robots are built to specification, perform optimally, and are safely operated during development, testing, and deployment. As a Mechatronics Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic platforms to ensure mechanical, electrical, and software systems function reliably. When on shift as a Robot Operator, you will operate advanced robotic systems remotely from our control center in Zurich Oerlikon, ensuring smooth mission execution and performance monitoring. For this position, we can unfortunately only accept applications from citizens of Schengen Area countries.
