YOUR CHALLENGE
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and go-live of critical IT initiatives within Julius Baer. As a central point of coordination, your main responsibilities include:
Planning, coordinating, and driving all activities within your assigned workstream, including resource allocation and timeline management
Ensuring end-to-end delivery of defined outputs in line with project milestones and Julius Baer standards
Monitoring progress, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and escalating issues promptly to the IT Project Lead
Acting as liaison between IT, business units, and subject matter experts (SMEs) in Front Office and Technology to ensure alignment on requirements and timelines
Facilitating clear and timely communication, both technical (towards IT) and functional/user-focused (towards Front Office), including direct interaction with Relationship Managers (RMs) and RM Assistants (RMAs)
Leading change management efforts throughout the lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, training delivery (e-training or “train-the-trainer” models), and tracking completion rates
Preparing and managing post-go-live support structures, such as floor runner setups during initial operation phases
Overseeing the eBanking rollout process, including coordination with technical support teams and client-facing functions
Supporting potential re-papering activities related to system transitions
Taking ownership of your workload, defining priorities independently, and ensuring reliable execution across multiple workstreams
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional with strong organisational and interpersonal abilities:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a comparable field
Native German speaker with excellent command of written and spoken English
Proven experience in large-scale IT platform rollouts or transformation projects within financial services, ideally in private banking
Solid understanding of private banking operations and digital channels (e.g., eBanking infrastructure)
Demonstrated strength in project coordination, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide team members and influence stakeholders without direct authority
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
Familiarity with formal documentation standards and project reporting within regulated environments
Based in Zurich, willingness to travel occasionally to Frankfurt (Delivery of the project is in Frankfurt)
