Job Description
Opportunity Summary
This is a senior commercial‑digital leadership role, positioned as a strategic member of the EUCAN business leadership ecosystem to drive growth, improve execution, and accelerate commercial impact across the region.
The EUCAN Digital Human Health Lead partners closely with EUCAN and market leadership teams as a peer to define and execute digital, data, and AI strategies that directly support commercial objectives, strengthen marketing effectiveness, and improve consistency of execution across markets.
Operating with strong regional accountability, this role balances enterprise discipline with EUCAN market complexity, challenges legacy ways of working, and ensures that insights, analytics, and AI are translated into scaled CE and digital solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Core Accountabilities:
Strategic Commercial Partnership
Act as the primary digital, data, and AI partner to EUCAN commercial and marketing leaders, using insights and analytics outputs to frame decisions and set clear commercial direction.
Synthesize complex data and analytics into concrete recommendations and trade‑offs that inform brand strategy, portfolio prioritization, and launch and lifecycle execution across EUCAN markets.
Serve as a trusted peer to EUCAN and market leaders, constructively challenging the status quo and ensuring insight‑led thinking translates into action and results.
Insight, Analytics, AI & Marketing Action Leadership
Own the insight‑to‑decision‑to‑implementation agenda for EUCAN, ensuring analytics outputs directly drive the selection and deployment of CE and digital solutions in markets.
Translate advanced analytics and AI outputs into clear, execution‑ready actions that marketing and commercial teams can operationalize consistently across the region.
Champion AI as a core enabler to improve decision quality, simplify marketing execution, and drive sustained commercial impact, moving beyond pilots to scaled adoption.
Demand Orchestration & Process Simplification
Quarterback demand from business questions through solution selection, implementation, and value realization, ensuring insights lead to effective CE and digital deployments in EUCAN markets.
Drive simplification by standardizing decision pathways, processes, and solution choices, reducing fragmentation and bespoke development across markets.
Balance regional consistency with necessary local flexibility, enabling markets to execute within a clear, simplified, and enterprise‑aligned CE and digital framework.
Organizational & People Leadership
Lead and develop senior leaders across EUCAN Insights and Engagement, setting high expectations for decision ownership, execution discipline, and business impact.
Shape and evolve a future‑ready operating model that scales impact through AI‑enabled delivery, shared services, and standardized commercial digital capabilities.
Build a one‑team culture that focuses on turning insight into action, decisions into deployment, and deployment into measurable outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10–12+ years of experience in digital, data, analytics, or AI leadership, with strong pharmaceutical commercial exposure.
Proven success operating in complex, multi‑country regional environments with diverse market maturity.
Background in oncology, specialty, or vaccines preferred.
Demonstrated ability to challenge legacy approaches while maintaining strong credibility and trust with senior business leaders.
Track record of translating strategy into scaled, repeatable execution rather than bespoke innovation.
Executive presence with the ability to simplify complexity, align stakeholders, and drive decisive action.
Fluent English required, additional European languages an advantage.
