Our HR Generalist is part of an international team that takes care of departments distributed across Serbia, Switzerland and Germany, while the employees in our Serbian location are your main focus. For approximately 80 employees, you are the single point of contact for all people-related topics and our culture ambassador throughout the organization. The role is of mixed nature, with both administrative and advisory tasks in an approximate 50-50 split.
Deine Aufgaben
- Handling all administrative aspects along the entire employee life-cycle, like employee’s documentation (payroll related documents, contracts, work permissions, expense reports, sick leaves, etc.)
- Managing employee’s social insurance through the CROSO system and updating employee data into relevant databases
- Providing full cycle support to line managers for disciplinary actions, performance improvement initiatives, and dismissal procedures in alignment with labor law regulations
- Closely collaborating with the line leaders to ensure the relevant policies and procedures fit the needs and growth potential of the organization
- Continuously improving the employee experience by contributing to team projects
- Analyzing relevant HR data and preparing relevant reports in line with the short- and long-term business needs
Deine Fähigkeiten
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in roles such as HR Specialist, Generalist or HR Business Partner and enjoy variety in your work day
- You have excellent knowledge and understanding of Serbian labor law, as well as HR procedures and polices
- You are fluent in English, German is a nice-to-have
- You build genuine and fruitful relationships with stakeholders, preferably in an international environment, and effectively advise line managers on pertinent topics
- You show problem-solving and decision-making skills in challenging situations
- You challenge "how things have always been done" and propose more efficient, automated, and/or effective solutions
- You demonstrate courage to take calculated risks and act on convictions under uncertainty
