In this role, you are responsible for providing IT support within the Workplace environment, particularly for Citrix and Windows systems. Through your commitment and expertise, you ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining smooth IT operations and delivering efficient troubleshooting. Your responsibilities include managing a wide range of IMACD activities, resolving software and hardware issues, and providing specialized support to VIP users.
- Manage inventory and lifecycle for software deployments, PCs, laptops, and IGEL devices.
- Administer and support Windows 10 environments, Active Directory accounts, and shared folders (creation, activation/deactivation, permissions).
- Maintain and support VMware and Citrix platforms (VM restarts, revert snapshots, Citrix Directory, XenDesktop, XenMobile, etc.).
- Oversee Golden Image processes including request validation, test deployments, and production rollouts.
- Manage SafeWalk authentication systems and Trend Micro security alerts.
- Lead IGEL management (UMS console configuration, profile creation, device onboarding, updates).
- Support telephony systems (Extranet Swisscom) and documentation management (creation, updates, and version control).
Your profile
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, and end-user assistance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Active Directory, and virtualization tools (VMware, Citrix).
- Skilled in asset and inventory management across hardware and software environments.
- Experience managing endpoint security solutions (Trend Micro) and remote authentication (SafeWalk).
- Ability to lead deployments and lifecycle management projects (Golden Image, BatchPatch).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware (PCs, smartphones) and software platforms.
- Comfortable with documentation, process tracking, and weekly operational follow-up.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills with a proactive, service-oriented attitude.
