The Position
Group Communications (GC) is responsible for creating a lasting positive image of Roche and representing the company's voice on a Group level. We communicate Roche’s strategy and how we deliver on our purpose of “Doing now what patients need next” to Roche colleagues and external audiences. We drive integrated and global campaigns and provide platforms for communications business partners as well as our affiliates to engage with audiences. We contribute to building trust of key stakeholders, managing Roche’s brand and reputation, and building a favorable environment for our business. The Role
The Senior Intelligence Manager (Measurement) is responsible for defining, enabling, and scaling how Roche measures the impact of its digital communications across internal and external audiences. This role goes beyond performance tracking, focusing on building and enhancing the foundations that make measurement effective, consistent, and scalable while shaping how data is collected, structured, and activated across the organization. You will work across measurement frameworks, data architecture, and emerging discovery ecosystems to ensure Roche not only understands performance but is equipped to continuously improve it.
The Opportunity

Measure and Report Performance: Track Roche’s paid and organic activity across global channels, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and narratives that inform business strategies.
Define Measurement Frameworks: Evolve frameworks for both holistic and campaign-specific KPIs to enable benchmarking, optimisation, and long-term organisational learning.
Design Data Ecosystems: Partner with IT and data engineering to design scalable data pipelines, ensuring automated ingestion and integration of data into centralised environments like data lakes.
Establish Data Standards: Set best practices for data layers and tracking frameworks to ensure consistent, accurate data collection across all platforms, channels, and markets.
Drive Research and Insights: Derive insights from social and audience data using analytics, listening, and custom research to build a single source of truth for communications performance.
Innovate with Emerging Tech: Explore measurement approaches for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to improve Roche’s visibility within AI-driven search and discovery environments.
Enable Global Collaboration: Partner with Internal Communications to align standards and coach colleagues, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and technical excellence.
Who You Are
We are looking for a strategic thinker who blends technical expertise with the ability to influence and collaborate across a global organisation.
Experienced Expert: You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in social media intelligence or digital analysis.
Technical Proficient: You are adept at using tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Snowflake, and Power BI, with preferred experience in Tableau, Data Studio, or Python.
Analytical Strategist: You have proven abilities in measurement, critical thinking, and decision-making, with the skill to interpret multi-market and multilingual social intelligence data.
Strong Communicator: You demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data structures into meaningful stories.
Bilingual Specialist: You are proficient in written and verbal communication in English, with additional fluency in German considered a vital asset for this global role.
