About the role:

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our team. You will work directly with customers to understand how they operate, identify high-leverage opportunities, and build AI-powered solutions that solve real problems. A big part of the role is using our own platform and internal tooling to turn the product’s capabilities into high-value experiences for customers. This is not a narrow research role or a pure implementation role. This is a role for someone who is curious, resourceful, and is eager to build great solutions on top of the DeepJudge platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning customer-specific AI solutions end-to-end, from understanding the problem and shaping the approach to building, deploying, evaluating, and improving the solution over time

• Building on top of our platform and internal tooling to create reusable AI-powered solutions that generalize across customers and can be relied on by thousands of end users

• Working closely with engineering and ML to improve AI-powered features of the core product and make the platform more intelligent over time

• Helping customers and their technical or innovation teams get the most out of the DeepJudge through hands-on collaboration, guidance, tooling, and documentation

• Evaluating new LLM models, techniques, and approaches as they emerge, and bringing them into production

• Proactively spotting opportunities and issues, and coordinating across teams to move important work forward quickly

What we are looking for:

• You have built technically ambitious things that use LLMs, whether in personal or professional projects, through APIs directly, frameworks such as DSPy, LangChain, or LangGraph, or equivalent systems built from scratch

• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript

• You are an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, and you build trust quickly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• You are highly customer-oriented, have strong intuition for what creates value, and care deeply about what you ship

• You are a persistent problem-solver who is comfortable in fast-moving environments where you need to figure things out as you go

• You do not need a legal background, but you should be excited to develop real domain expertise over time

• We care much more about your ability, judgment, and potential than about a specific number of years of experience
