About this role

We are looking for a Business Development Director to support the growth of our Finance & Risk Solutions business by developing new enterprise relationships and strengthening existing ones in environments. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in Finance & Risk Solutions (F&RS) by acquiring new strategic enterprise customers (New Logos) and expanding existing accounts 
  • Act as a trusted advisor for large, complex enterprise clients, managing senior internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level 
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and influence governance, decision‑making, and budget processes 
  • Design and deliver client‑specific solutions across Finance & Risk, Third Party Risk, Compliance, and Governance use cases 
  • Execute cross‑ and upselling initiatives across the full customer lifecycle to maximize account value 
  • Conduct workshops, solution demos, POCs, and value‑realization sessions to clearly articulate business impact 
  • Build and maintain robust account and quarterly business plans covering pipeline, key deals, opportunities, and risks 
  • Essential Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience managing and growing large, complex enterprise customers
  • Experience in data, SaaS, or datadriven solution environments is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions in regulated and governanceheavy environments
  • Strong expertise in Finance & Risk Solutions, Third Party Risk, Compliance & regulatory frameworks, and risk & governance topics
  • Extensive experience engaging with Clevel executives and positioning AIdriven and advanced data solutions at executive and board level
  • Skilled in MEDDICC methodology and Challenger Sales (or comparable sales methodologies)
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and analytics tools
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and executiondriven (“runs independently”)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across business, technical, and executive levels
  • Fluency in German and English; French or Italian is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
