Sysadmin/Platform Engineer (60–80%)

A day as a Sysadmin / Platform Engineer

• You run and look after the infrastructure our teams rely on every day: Linux hosts, Kubernetes clusters and our GitLab platform

• You keep things up to date and reliable, including cluster and GitLab upgrades, runners, backups, monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Grafana

• You help our dev teams deploy and run Django, Drupal and Vue.js projects smoothly, so they feel supported, not blocked

• You work with Swiss hosting providers such as Infomaniak, Exoscale and nine.ch, and help us make good choices for sovereignty and sustainability

• You write things down as you go, so knowledge is shared across the team instead of living in one head

Your profile as a Sysadmin / Platform Engineer

• You have solid Linux admin experience (Debian/Ubuntu) and good fundamentals in DNS, TLS, reverse proxies and secrets management

• You have run Kubernetes in production (Helm, ingress, upgrades, Prometheus/Grafana) and administered GitLab or a similar platform (runners, pipelines, upgrades, backups)

• You deeply care and are passionate about the recent evolution in terms of security and cyber risk in general

• You know how to deploy Django, Drupal or Vue.js projects (deploying, not developing)

• You care about sustainability, digital sovereignty and open source. Knowing the Swiss hosting landscape is a big plus (for example Infomaniak, Exoscale, nine.ch)

• You speak English and ideally German or Swiss German fluently, French is a bonus
