Swiss or international, every employer here hires people who live in Switzerland and has a remote policy you can read. Fully remote, part remote, or weeks abroad: each role says which.

LinkedIn shows you “remote jobs in Zurich.” What that usually means: mostly roles that want you in the office three days a week, plus a handful of San Francisco startups that don’t realize Switzerland exists.
Remotli lists remote-first roles from Swiss employers, and from international companies that hire in Switzerland. The kind where “remote” is written into the contract, not the kind that changes the moment a new CEO arrives.

No. You need the right to work in Switzerland: Swiss citizens, EU/EFTA nationals with a B or C permit, or anyone with valid Swiss work authorisation.
Yes, within limits. Under the EU-Switzerland telework framework, an employee resident in a participating EU/EFTA country can perform up to 49.9% of their working time from their country of residence without changing the social-security regime. Outside EU/EFTA, Switzerland has bilateral agreements with around 50 countries (US, Canada, Japan, India, UK, others) that cover specific cases. Most Swiss employers also set their own day limits per year. The exact rules depend on tax residency, social security, and the employer's permanent-establishment risk.
Within limits, yes. On a Swiss employment contract the paycheck stays in CHF and AHV and pension contributions stay Swiss while you work abroad temporarily: up to 49.9% of working time from an EU/EFTA country of residence under the telework framework, or whatever annual work-from-abroad allowance your employer sets. Move your tax residency abroad permanently and the setup changes completely.
A growing set. Remotli tracks Swiss companies that operate fully remote, with no office requirement, alongside remote-first international employers that hire from Switzerland, and verifies each policy before listing. The companies directory shows every tracked company with its verified work mode: fully remote, remote friendly, hybrid, or workation.
Yes, in the sense people search for: every role on the board is done from home or from wherever you choose to work, on a proper employment contract with a Swiss or international company. Remotli calls them remote jobs; "online jobs" and "work from home jobs in Switzerland" are the same thing here, minus the gig-work listings those searches often return.
The most common destinations among Swiss remote workers are Lisbon, Madeira, Barcelona, Bali, Chiang Mai, Mexico City, Medellín, Cape Town, and Buenos Aires. The picks balance Swiss-passport visa days, timezone overlap with Zurich, monthly cost in CHF, and reliable wifi. The Guide tracks 17 destinations with full numbers for each.
The minimum stack: a Swiss bank that doesn't lose money on FX (Wise, Revolut, Neon), an eSIM for day-one connectivity (Airalo, Saily, Holafly), a co-working membership where you're going, and a VPN for banking from abroad. The Guide lists 65 tools across banking, connectivity, productivity, community, tax, and travel.
Daily. New roles are scraped automatically from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Personio, Workable and the other ATS platforms we support. Stale listings are archived when they disappear from the source ATS.
Yes. Subscribe from the homepage and pick your cadence: daily, weekly, or a curated round-up every other week. For something narrower, filter the job list first and hit "Save as alert" to be emailed only about roles matching that search.
No. Browsing, the newsletter and job alerts need no account. A free account adds the parts a list cannot do: roles matched to a profile you set once, saved roles with an application tracker, and the export for the RAV Arbeitsbemühungen form. Nothing in it is public.
Directly from the listing. We show what the company actually disclosed. We do not estimate, average, or fill in guesses.
You can post directly via Post a role, free. Remotli reviews every direct listing within one business day, then it runs for 30 days. Featured (CHF 149) and Premium (CHF 299) are paid upgrades that pin the role to the top, highlight its card, and put it in the subscriber email.
Within seconds of Stripe payment. The webhook publishes the listing, sends a confirmation email with a self-edit link, and the role appears on the homepage and the relevant category and city pages.
